Like New Leica Amplus 6 2.5-15x50i with the Mil BDC turret and the L4a reticle. Love the scope but I'm needing wind holds on the reticle. Glass in these seems far better than similar priced Leupold Vx-6. I really think Leica hit these Amplus scopes out of the park. $1150 TYD. Selling my Leica Amplus 6 scope. I had a Zeiss Victory and looked through my brother V6 and was really impressed, but the V4 was nice but definitely I prefer the V6 over the V4. Feb 5, 2023.
Appreciate input on the advantages/disadvantages with the Meostar R2 2.5-15x50 vs the Leica Magnus 2.6-16x56. I'm having a 338-06 built and looking for an appropriate scope. I had a Meostar R1 and a Leica ERi and was equally impressed with both scopes and assume it will be the same case with the R2 or Magnus.
Cheers , I was drawn to the amplus for value as ticks a lot of boxes of all over 90% and little in it I may be drawn to the ballistic reticle in the 44 objective as it still has the simple centre illumination and can be used as a cross over stalking /range scope but still good light gathering for stalking use as I have the one 308 to do everything (yes always a compromise I know)

I have this scope in 2.5-15x50 L4w reticle. Short summary. It’s what Leica describes as their entry into the premium line. It’s on the heavy side (( ounces matter to me) , the optics have good edge sharpness and color rendition.Low light performance is to me very similar to my Leupold VX-6 3-18x50. Leupold beats it just a bit.
