Finished 1st playthrough solo. Its difficult and in some encounters you will die maybe once or twice but it is possible. Alot depends on your equipment and your tactics. The original Dead Island, especially at the end in the prison area, I was constantly scrounging for any small amount of money to finish the game. I think what makes this difference in difficulty prevalent, however, is the fact I played as Purna during my playthrough in Dead Island. After changing studio hands a few times, Dead Island 2 was finally released to the world thanks to Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver. Players find themselves in HELL-A , a zombie-infested post I just gotta find a friend group to play it with. On ps4 theres a a good amount. Atleast more than you would expect for a pretty old game. Dead island has many on ps. Although the last chapter it’s hard to find people. If anyone is around who needs the arena trophies add me let’s make it happen (co-op) trophies.

I am not sure if this works or not, but you could try it.
