Historically, at about 8k into the 10k oil change interval, my low oil light comes on. I’ve had the turbo replaced under warranty at 80k miles, and I think they also replaced the oil level sensor.

Itis recommended to replace your oil filter every 8,000 to 15,000 kilometres or as per your owner's manual. We recommended every time you change your engine oil, you should replace your oil filter. However, in saying this, it doesn't hurt to change your oil filter more often than not at all.
